PSY Hosts Pool After Dark Wednesday Night

On Wednesday, Dec. 5, The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City brings in international YouTube sensation PSY.

The South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and record producer is well known for his humorous videos and stage performances, and for his hit single “Gangnam Style.”

The song and video, released on YouTube in July “for his Korean fans,” says PSY,  picked up the Best Video” award during November’s MTV Europe Music Awards.

The PSY sensation has taken over the world since its release, with the artist appearing on several TV shows, including a hilarious skit on Saturday Night Live.

It was recently reported that PSY will rake in nearly $8 million this year for the success of “Gangnam Style.”

The Wet N’ Wild Wednesdays @ The Pool After Dark event starts at 9pm and there will be volleyball in the pool at 1:30am.

‘Livin de Life’ Tracker, Week 2: 650,641 YouTube Hits

asamuels_livin_video_2_blog_460ATLANTIC CITY — If you are not familiar with the viral video hit for the rap song “Livin de Life,” credited to A. Samuels, a 55-year-old Tropicana casino host from Atlantic City whose real name is Allen Samuels, than you must be living under a rock.

Since the video, produced by Stockton College student and videographer/photographer Frank Weiss, hit YouTube about two weeks ago, it has been a monstrous Net success, garnering hundreds of thousands of views (it’s up to 650,641 YouTube hits as of 3:30pm EST on Monday, Aug. 22) and tons of media coverage from ABC and Fox News to The Huffington Post, Atlantic City Weekly, and Salon.com.

‘Livin De Life’: A.C. Goes Viral

Atlantic City may have its own version of Rebecca Black thanks to a rap video called “Livin De Life,” which is quickly going viral.

The video comes from 55-year-old Allen Samuels, described as a casino host in Atlantic City.

The video was shot in A.C. and New York and features a lot of shots of Atlantic City’s skyline and casino scene.
