Tuesday, May 1st, 2012
ATLANTIC CITY — Were you wondering what that looooong line was last Saturday on the Boardwalk, stretching from the Taj Mahal entrance back to about Connecticut Avenue? It was the Taj hosting auditions for the CBS reality show ‘Survivor.’
Hopeful prospects lined up early Saturday and auditions were conducted by CBS representatives from about noon to 3pm. The show airs Wednesdays at 8pm. Its premise is a progressive elimination in which contestants vote off other tribe members until only one final contestant remains.
The “Sole Survivor” wins $1 million. Contestants live in remote locations, are filmed up to 24 hours a day, and are responsible for building their own shelter and finding their own food. No word yet on whether any AC prospects passed muster ….
