The popular tribute show Legends in Concert has been taking a winter break since late December but that wait is over. The show returns to the Legends in Concert Theatre at Bally’s tomorrow (March 5) at 8pm. The schedule is Tues. 8pm; Wed. 3 & 8pm; Thurs.-Fri. 8pm; Sat. 7:30 & 10pm; Sun. 8pm (closed Mon.). Tickets are $32.50 adults and $16.25 children 3-16.
The headliners for the new current run are Mitch Adams as Elton John; Coty Alexander as Madonna; Eric Martin & Carmen Romaro as the Blues Brothers; Stacy Whitton as Shania Twain and Terry Forsyth as Stevie Wonder.
From Branson to Las Vegas, Stacey Whitton’s tribute to Shania Twain is “Still The One” that has audiences entertained. Whitton has also appeared in Atlantic City’s Legends’ show as Marilyn Monroe.
Whitton comes from a musical family of eight and has been entertaining audiences since age seven. She was a featured vocalist for the New Penny Singers until she discovered the saxophone at age 11. Her ten-year career as a saxophonist in the Early Birds Quintet led her to pursue a degree in theater and opera.
With a love for all aspects of performing, she took to the musical theater during which she was offered an audition for the role of Shania Twain in Legends In Concert. She has now been traveling and performing with the show for several years.
Whitton’s performance includes Twain’s top hits, including “Still the One,” “I’m Out of Here,” and a medley of “Man I Feel Like A Woman,” “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under” and “Honey I’m Home.”
