London-born singer Neon Hitch performed at the Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City on Saturday, June 16. The singer, who was has been working the electronic dance music scene for the past few years is expected to release her full length debut album this summer. She is known for her dance single “F U Betta,” released in March.
He’ll turn 65 June 1, but legendary rocker Ron Wood is feeling young.
He’s got a hit radio show, just got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the second time, and played one sensational concert at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City on Saturday, April 21.
Oh, and Woody has a new art exhibition “Faces, Time and Places,” running through July in New York, with a satellite gallery — featuring the Rolling Stones’ member’s originals and prints — just opened at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City.
The one-off Atlantic City showed Woody to be in top form, prancing around the stage in a high-energy show that last about two hours. He played guitar and sang, as well as slide guitar and harmonica.
Following Wood and friends’ “Golden” weekend in Atlantic City, it’s gonna be a big weekendthis weekend for the Nugget, too.
Playboy model, one-time girlfriend of Philadelphia Eagles Hank Baskett, Olive Garden chain restaurant lover, Hugh Hefner lover, recent contestant on Dancing with the Stars (Spring 2011), and E! Network TV personality Kendra Wilkinson hosted the party at The Pool at Harrah’s on Saturday, March 3.
Atlantic City’s newest casino — well, at least until Revel opens in April — the Golden Nugget (formerly the Trump Marina) held a Masquerade Bash on Saturday, Feb. 18, at its Live Bar. The event featured live music by Seven Stone.

Also this weekend, the Golden Nugget’s executive VP & GM Tom Pohlman spoke to Atlantic City Weekly, saying that after nine months since taking over the former Trump Marina, the Golden Nugget is about 85-percent complete with regard to its $150 million transformation.
The Golden Nugget features several restaurants, including the new Grotto, a new Poker Room and two live-entertainment lounges (Rush Lounge and Live Bar), in addition to its showroom.

Los Angeles DJ sensation Steve Aoki brought his Deadmeat Tour to the Borgata on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 w/ Dim Mak label mate Datsik.
Aoki didn’t hit the stage till after 1am, but Atlantic City Weekly contributing photographer Nastassia Davis got some outstanding pics from the party — after returning from Whitney Houston’s funeral in Newark earlier that day. (See Pics)
Aoki is touring in support of his debut studio album Wonderland.
Entirely … according to a post on the Curbed LA (Los Angeles) site, which states that:
“The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has approved a master plan from Venice [California]-based Jerde Partnership (working with real estate consultants Jones Lang LaSalle).”
The Showtime Super Six Classic Finals boxing event finally took place in Atlantic City at Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, Dec. 17, with Andre Ward just too good for the United Kingdom’s Carl Froch.
Ward, 25(13)-0, and the WBA world champion, won the 12-round bout with a unanimous decision victory over Froch, 28(20)-2. Ward also brought the long-running Showtime Super Six Classic middleweight championship to a close, walking away with not only the Super Six Silver Cup, but also Froch’s WBC championship.
Ward, an Olympic gold medalist who remains undefeated, has several fighters anxious to get (or get back) into the ring with him, likely including Froch.
Who’s that? Well, if you’re old enough to remember the days before cell phones, laptop computers, and i-anything, you probably know Novello under his noms de stage Father Guido Sarducci.
Novello’s character dates back to the early 1970s and his very popular Father character made frequent appearances on NBC’s Saturday Night Live during the late 1970s. He was also a writer for SNL at one time.
Novello, as Father Guido Sarducci, is performing a four-night residency at Club Piscopo (July 14-17) and appears on stage with his fellow SNL comic Piscopo, who debuted on SNL on 1980 with Eddie Murphy.
