Sure signs that summer is here, even though it’s still May.
The Ocean City Boardwalk is coming alive.
This weekend, the annual Businesspersons’ Plunge takes place in Ocean City (pictured here is last year’s event).
Wildwood has a jam-packed weekend and summer season planned.
The Atlantic City beach bars are opening, such as Sammy’s at Bally’s; (see photo below and click here to see video from last year’s grand opening); the Trump Plaza Beach Bar; Hilton’s Beach Bar — and don’t forget The Deck at the new Golden Nugget Atlantic City.
The big-time summer concerts are being announced (The Flaming Lips at House of Blues, June 25; as well as the following at the Borgata alone:

All this and much, much more to look forward to this summer season (which kicks off this holiday weekend in the Jersey shore region).
Expect big things that have yet to be announced from Resorts, the Golden Nugget, and Caesars Entertainment’s four properties — for starters. Not to mention new restaurants at Harrah’s.
Also: Will Trump Plaza go the way of Trump Marina? Will Season Two of HBO’s hit drama series Boardwalk Empire be even bigger and better than the debut season? Will peace finally get a chance across the globe?
