Ocean City Aviation Weekend

Ocean City’s annual Aviation Weekend is set for this Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20. It will feature exciting stunt flying, extensive ground displays and model airplane flying at the O.C. Municipal Airport, located at 26th Street and Bay Avenue.
The flying display will include world Aerobatic champion Rob Holland in his MX-2, formation flying, wing walking and other exciting displays.
On Saturday, from 10am-3pm, the airport grounds will be packed with unusual airplanes, including a variety of antiques, World War II planes, ultra-lights, home-built and classics that will be inspected and judged for prizes. There will be air demonstrations over the field including an advertising banner pick-up, Coast Guard helicopter rescue demonstration, and show-goers will be able to view the FAA’s Aero Commander N-50 plane.
