MAYS LANDING — To celebrate Mardi Gras, Atlantic Cape Community College’s Baking & Pastry Club is making fresh doughnuts, until 7pm today — Fat Tuesday, Feb. 21 —  in front of the Walter Edge Theater, C-Building, on the Mays Landing Campus.

The Baking & Pastry Club is one of several clubs on campus that encourage students to get involved in activities outside the classroom, and to become better informed of how techniques or trade apply to the corporate world. The Baking & Pastry Club’s mission statement is: “To encourage and facilitate the meaningful exchange of specialized concepts and techniques. To build professional alliances while promoting strong community “outreach” to generate enthusiasm and build support for networking between students.”
