Atlantic City All Star Band to Play Inaugural Italian Festival in Smithville

Jim Craine fronts the fabulous Atlantic City All Star Band, here performing at the "AC Library Roars Back to the '20s" event on the Boardwalk Sept. 24.
This Saturday, Oct. 15, the inaugural Knights of Columbus Italian Festival will be taking place from 10am-5pm at the Historic Towne of Smithville.
The festival will include fine New Jersey wine tasting, Italian specialty dishes, and music and entertainment featuring Jim Craine and the Atlantic City All Star Band.
The band will perform several sets throughout the day starting at 11:30am and featuring traditional Italian music and songs by such magnificent Italian crooners as Frank Sinatra, Jerry Vale, Al Martino, Tony Bennett and others.
Admission and parking is free. There will be a bocce ball tournament (click here to register), and fun for the whole family, including face painting, pony rides and games for the children, and a classic Italian car show for dad. There will also be authentic Italian folk dancers, a guest speaker from the Italian Embassy, and a speech by Paola Ebranati, the director of education for the Italian Consulate.
