ATLANTIC CITY — The region’s most highly acclaimed singers and musicians will join together on one stage to perform a live concert called “Street Life” to benefit the Serenity House and Hansen House on Wednesday, May 16, at 7:30pm. The event takes place at the Concert Venue at Harrah’s Resort. Doors open at 6:45pm and the box office opens 5:30pm.

Inspired by a poignant song about a woman’s personal account of life on the streets, the 7th Street Life concert event will bring together 16 featured performers and their bands. Presented by the Hansen Foundation, this year’s concert features the songs of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. It will honor the Scarborough Family in memory of Randy Scarborough.

Street Life is produced by Melanie Rice and Bob Fowler, with well-known Philadelphia entertainer Eddie Bruce serving as Master of Ceremonies and as one of the performers. The inaugural concert in 2005 and the accompanying CDs were the brainchild of Northfield’s Nina Soifer, who became inspired when hearing Hansen House founder Jennifer Hansen’s song titled Street Life, in which she wrote about her own experience of having lived life on the streets with a drug addiction.
