What didn‘t happen during Kanye West’s three-night stint at Revel?

On the first night, Friday, Dec. 28, the rap star took to the Atlantic City resort’s Ovation Hall stage in an all-white outfit, performing a 75-minute set, during which he wore a pair of masks that made international headlines. The next morning, Rolling Stone offered: “[Kanye] rocked a couple of bizarre full-head masks – a diamond-encrusted one on his remix of Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ and … some kind of yeti costume (or a werewolf George Washington).”

During Saturday night’s show, West spoke (read: rant) to the crowd on several subjects, including his sanity (”They’ll try to tell you Kanye’s so crazy, so deranged. … I ain’t crazy, I’m just not satisfied”), the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony in February (”Don’t expect to see me at the Grammys this year,” he said despite receiving six nominations), Lady Gaga, his women’s fashion line and receiving death threats via Twitter.

What made the Twitter word explode was West’s announcement during his Sunday night show that his girlfriend Kim Kardashian was pregnant.

Kardashian was in the 5,000-plus crowd, along with Kris Jenner and Jay-Z.

As soon as West told the crowd that he and Kardashian are expecting their first child, the crowd went nuts — and the Internet soon did as well.

West told his fans to congratulate his “baby mom” and that the pregnancy was the “most amazing thing.”

Revel hosted West five times in 2012, his only solo U.S. appearances since 2011, according to MTV.

ATLANTIC CITY — Jay-Z has performed in Atlantic City before, and so has his wife, Beyoncé (whose all-girl band’s saxophonist, Tia Fuller, performed at Kennedy Plaza on the Boardwalk as part of the Chicken Bone Beach Jazz on the Beach summer concert series last Thursday, Aug. 11). In fact, Jay and Beyoncé appeared together at both the groundbreaking of Jay-Z’s Atlantic City 40/40 Club, at the Oct. 25, 2005, grand opening bash, and at the one-year anniversary party (among the times that the pair has been seen together in A.C. publicly, at least. Jay-Z and his other partner, Kanye West — the two team up on the newly released Watch the Throne album — will appear in Atlantic City in November. Nov. 19, to be exact, at Boardwalk Hall. Boardwalk Hall was the site of another huge concert — the recent Femme Fatale tour stop, Aug. 6, featuring Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj.

Lady Gaga herself was in the audience at the Britney concert (see photo at left) and reports are swirling on the Internet that the two pop divas discussed doing a song together as they hung out in Atlantic City.

Rihanna Still Swilling on Stage During ‘Loud’ Tour, Joined by Kanye West in New York.

ATLANTIC CITY — As Atlantic City fans witnessed at Rihanna’s “Loud” tour stop at the Borgata Event Center on Sunday, July 17, the pop diva appears to be making drinking on stage a regular part of her dynamic show.

Following the Atlantic City concert, where she chugged a Corona beer on stage, (see photo gallery from the Borgata show, which also featured Cee Lo Green, here), RiRi did at least one shot of “an unknown liquid” at her performance in Uniondale, New York on July 19.

According to theboombox.com, “The red-haired songstress, dressed in a floral bandeau top and high-waisted jean shorts, brought out a glass and addressed the crowd before she took a swig of the unknown liquid. ‘This is to you,’ she shouted, while extending the cup in the air.

“Then, fittingly, Rihanna moved into ‘Cheers (Drink to That),’ a cut off her fifth studio album, Loud. She performed ‘Rude Boy’ and ‘Unfaithful,’ among others, before letting loose the night’s biggest surprise: a guest appearance by Kanye West.

“The My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy creator rhymed through his Rihanna-assisted songs ‘Run This Town’ and ‘All of the Lights,’ all while sporting a leather jacket and red plaid shirt tied around his waist.”
The report also states that Rihanna tweeted “@kanyewest thank you bro!!! U made it a night for New York to remember #poppopgetwell #watchthethrone,” following the show.

So, apparently RiRi is going to be joined by some guests this tour. Additionally she — and/or her advisors — doesn’t really care that many of her impressionable fans are teenagers under the drinking age.

Good thinking RiRi.
