Jonathan Lipnicki then ....

... and now.
When we are first introduced to a child actor, we tend to freeze our image in time of that kid. While such stars as Jodie Foster and Ron Howard managed to make a name for themselves as adults, more often those adorable movie and TV kids end up losing their careers when they are no longer “adorable.”
This brings me to Jonathan Lipnicki, one of the cutest movie kids in history thanks to his performance at age five as Renee Zellweger’s son in the 1996 film Jerry Maguire.
Well, Lipnicki is now 21 and could easily have been cast in Magic Mike because he has a hot bod. He will be in Atlantic City this Friday, July 20, as the celebrity host at Harrah’s Pool After Dark.
Lipnicki had a role in the recent movie For the Love of Money and has roles in two films coming out in the next year Tag and Edge of Salvation. I hope he manages to beat the odds and reestablish his career as an adult.
