MBCA Annual Summer Mixer and Auction is Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Harry’s Oyster Bar

The Gin Canaries will perform at the MBCA's summer mixer Aug. 7.
ATLANTIC CITY — The Metropolitan Business & Citizens Association (MBCA) Scholarship Foundation will hold its annual Summer Mixer/Auction at 5pm Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 5-7:30pm at Harry’s Oyster Bar in the Courtyard at Bally’s in Atlantic City.
The summer event is sponsored by Fox Rothschild law firm, the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority (ACCVA), Harry’s and PNC Bank. A silent auction will include great items such as restaurant gift certificates, jewelry by Bernie Robbins, an Atlantis Bahamas vacation, concert tickers to see Madonna, Justin Beiber and Bruce Springsteen, casino-hotel stays, furniture, art, show tickets to Cirque De Soleil at Boardwalk Hall and more.
The event will also include a cash bar, a delectable selection of both passed hors d’ oeuvres and seafood stations at Harry’s, an appearance by Ms. Atlantic City Aliyah Montague, and live music by the Gin Canaries.
Proceeds from the mixer and auction benefit the MBCA Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund has awarded over $100,000 to Greater Atlantic City area residents who are furthering their educational goals. Tickets are $40 and if you buy 10 you’ll get two free.
