Bally’s Hosts Soap Opera Weekend
Thursday, February 9th, 2012Bally’s Atlantic City will host popular stars of classic daytime drama during its Soap Opera Weekend on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25. Tickets for the Soap Opera Weekend go on sale Friday, Feb. 10, through Ticketmaster.

Popular cast members set to appear from The Young and the Restless are Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher); Michael Muhney (Adam Newman); Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) and Stephen Nichols (Tucker McCall). In addition the band Port Chuck will perform. This cover-band quartet is made up of actors from General Hospital — Steve Burton (Jason Quartermaine), Brandon Barash, (Johnny Zacchara), Bradford Anderson (Damien Spinelli and Scott Reeves (Dr. Steve Webber).
On Saturday, March 24, at Bally’s Park and Garden Ballrooms, The Young and the Restless stars will speak to audience members and answer all their most burning questions for the Genoa City Conversations event. This event features four conversations total, on the hour beginning at 11am and lasting until 3pm, and is hosted by Soap Opera Weekend’s Joyce Becker. Tickets are $40 and attendance is limited to 180 people per discussion.
Also, on Saturday, the Ocean Ballroom will serve as the prime setting to mingle with the daytime stars while enjoying some signature wines. This Panel Meet and Greet Wine Tasting features soap actors and actresses regaling guests with tales from behind the scenes, as well as a Q & A session. This event is from 6pm to 9pm and is limited to 400 guests; tickets are $85.
To complete the Saturday evening festivities, guests can gather at the Traymore Ballroom and watch as General Hospital’s Port Chuck spend the night delighting audience members with songs and a few stories too racy for TV. Tickets are $35, $55 and $75.
At 10am on Sunday, March 25, the Ocean Ballroom hosts the Drama Brunch. Tickets are $85 and the event includes soap stars dishing it out, literally, as they will be serving up some of their favorite brunch specialties till 1pm.
