AUDIO: Rolling Stones Brand New Song: ‘Doom and Gloom’
Thursday, October 11th, 2012The Rolling Stones have officially released the band’s new single, “Doom and Gloom,” an all-new song which got its world exclusive first airplay in the U.K. Oct. 11. (Watch and hear it below!)
The single, which can be downloaded now from iTunes, marks the first time that Mick, Keef, Charlie and Ronnie (who was in Atlantic City for a one-off show at the Golden Nugget in April of this year (see super-cool photos, review, video and more here), the same month that Rolling Stone mag reported that the Stones were rehearsing somewhere in New Jersey) have been in the studio together in seven years.
The song appears on the forthcoming Stones album GRRR! Greatest Hits, slated for a Nov. 13 release from ABKCO/Interscope/UMe. The album, according to a press release, “is a must for Stones fans featuring a second brand new recording ‘One More Shot,’ as well as classic tracks.”
