ATLANTIC CITY — The Tom Joyner Morning Show will broadcast its national program live on 96.1 WTTH-FM “The Touch,” Friday, June 1, as a kick-off to Atlantic City’s inaugural Multi-Cultural Heritage Festival.
Beginning in the mid-1990s, positive fan ratings have made the Tom Joyner Morning Show the most listened-to morning show in America.
“We’re thrilled to provide our listeners with the opportunity to interact up close and personal with Tom and his co-hosts Sybil Wilkes and J Anthony Brown,” says Equity Communications president/owner Gary Fisher in a media release. “It’s the perfect way to kick off Atlantic City’s first annual Multi-Cultural Heritage Festival, which is a weekend-long celebration of entertainment, sporting events, parades and concerts highlighting Atlantic City’s diversity.”
“We’re committed to making this festival an iconic legendary event that’s sure to please generations of Atlantic City’s multi-cultural families for years to come,” says Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford, in the release. “We will be proclaiming Friday, June 1, as Tom Joyner Day and will be presenting him with a key to the city at the Sandcastle Stadium meet and greet event.”
Admission to the festival is free, and WTTH-FM fans can listen to win free 96.1 VIP meet & greet passes through the WTTH contest line, Facebook, or online by going here. — Julie Pipitone
