Tickets are now on sale the 30th anniversary Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala that takes place Thursday, March 14, at Bally’s. With a theme “Celebrate the 30 kNights,” the Gala will feature Camelot-inspired décor and a feast. Now in its 30th year, the Restaurant Gala has raised nearly $3 million in student scholarships.

The annual event showcases food by serving thousands of hors d’oeuvres prepared by students from the Academy of Culinary Arts and featuring the culinary specialties of 50 of the region’s best restaurants. An elegant “Dessert Extravaganza,” headed by Executive Pastry Chef Eugen Ess of Trump Taj Mahal, will complete the night’s events.

Music will be provided by the Sensational Soul Cruisers, FM Band, the Ocean City Pops and Lenny Mitchell. The event has raised nearly $3 million since 1984. Gala proceeds benefit student scholarships at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations.

There will also be a Gala 50/50 Raffle to Benefit Atlantic Cape Scholarships with a chance to win up to $15,000 in prizes. Three lucky winners will share up to $15,000. The raffle is sponsored by the Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation, and proceeds benefit student scholarships and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations. Only 300 tickets will be sold at $100 each. Three cash prizes will be awarded, including: $9,000, first prize; $4,500, second prize; and $1,500, third prize. Dollar amounts are based on all 300 tickets being sold. The winning tickets will be drawn at the gala.
