Watch: David Bowie’s New Stirring Song, Video
David Bowie, who turned 66 yesterday, has released his first new song in a decade.
The melancholy track — “Where Are We Now?” — also has a video, which is as mysterious and stirring as the song itself. “Where Are We Now?” will be included on Bowie’s anticipated forthcoming album The Next Day, which reunites the “Thin White Duke” with producer Tony Visconti.
Bowie, who has been captured numerous times by Rolling Stone walking around New York in recent months, hasn’t been seen or heard of much over the past decade. He did perform at the Borgata May 29-30, 2004.
Although no concert dates have been announced for Bowie, in relation to his forthcoming or otherwise, it would be a big catch to get him to play in Atlantic City this summer.
