Lexus Atlantic City Donates $5K to Red Cross
As the Atlantic City area still cleans up and deals with the aftermath of October’s Hurricane Sandy, many have stepped up to the plate to help the victims of the natural disaster.
First, President Obama, less than a week before the 2012 presidential election, came to the area with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
Since then there have been benefit concerts, including the RE-DO AC concert at Le Grand Fromage, Neil Young and Crazy Horse at Borgata, Caesars Entertainment’s Operation Hat Trick (which raised $500,000) and upcoming Savor for Sandy and several other generous donations and offers of assistance.
On Wednesday morning, Dec. 12, Lexus Of Atlantic City presented a $5,000 check to the American Red Cross serving Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties. Pictured above are Scott T. Harvey, of Lexus Atlantic City, and the local American Red Cross chapter’s executive director Carol Cohen.
