Seaview Holiday Dinner to Benefit Community FoodBank of New Jersey
GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — Seaview – A Dolce Resort will host its inaugural “Holiday Dinner and Gingerbread Showcase” to benefit the Community FoodBank of NJ’s Southern Branch on Friday, Dec. 2.
The event starts 6pm and includes a festive night of holiday cheer, entertainment and a seasonal dinner buffet. The evening will conclude with the first-ever “Gingerbread Showcase Showdown” in which gingerbread-house displays submitted by local professional chefs will be judged the “most magical of them all.”
Each submitted display is $250 and all the proceeds will go to the Community FoodBank. The gingerbread creations will be judged by local dignitaries and media personalities, with the winner receiving a plaque of acknowledgment, appreciation and of course bragging rights.
The public is encouraged to support and attend the fundraising event. Guests will enjoy a holiday buffet and musical entertainment. Additionally, each guest will receive a ticket and the opportunity to win one of the gingerbread houses via a Chinese auction. The cost to attend is $28.95 for an adult and $14 for children 12 and under, tax and gratuity are not included. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (609) 652-1800.

Community FoodBank of NJ, Southern Branch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that solicits, stores and distributes donations of food & grocery products on behalf of other charitable feeding programs serving those in need since 1987.
