The Country Cruisers Riding Group is Hosting its Inaugural Breast Cancer Poker Run on Oct. 8
GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — The Country Cruisers Riding Group has rescheduled its first annual Breast Cancer Poker Run for this Saturday, Oct. 8, at Galloway Diner (245 White Horse Pike) in Ponoma. The event had been scheduled for Aug. 27 but was rained out by hurricane Irene.
The final destination at the event will have food provided. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best male and female poker hand, along with door prizes, raffle prizes such as a night stay and dinner for two at Bally’s, a stainless steel BBQ grill, an OCC leather jacket and more. In addition to the raffle, there will also be a 50/50 drawing.
Those who do not have a bike are welcome to join with their cars. A donation jar will also be present during registration for those that want to help out a great cause, but don’t have the time to ride. All proceeds go to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Fund.
Registration will be from 9-11am. Price for entry is $20 per ride and $10 per passenger. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 9. Country Cruisers Riding Group is a nonprofit organization.
