Margate’s “Thrilling Thursdays”

natalieThursdays just got a little more thrilling in the City of Margate this summer, as every Thursday through July and August there will be live music at the pier (Washington and Amherst avenues) from 7-9pm, movies on the beach (at Granville Avenue) starting at 8:30pm, and sidewalk sales and a farmers market at Steve & Cookie’s by the Bay on Amherst Avenue from 9am-12:30pm. It will also be a free beach day, with no beach badges required on Thursdays.

The music will feature an eclectic mix from rock to pop to country. Performing July 14 (and Aug. 4) will be the rock ‘n’ roll cover band Fire Road, and the following Thursday (July 21) will feature acclaimed singer/songwriter/recording artist from southern New Jersey (Cherry Hill) Natalie Acciani (pictured). Movies will include Toy Story 3 (July 14), Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back (July 28) and others.

Go here for the complete list. All events are “weather permitting.”
