Classic Film Matinees at Resorts
Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
The Downbeach Film Festival, which presents the Atlantic City Cinefest in October, is planning a series of classic film matinee screenings at Resorts over the summer to raise funds for the Atlantic City Cinefest October 14-16.
The first set of films tentatively scheduled would be an ’80s tribute to John Hughes, with the initial movie, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, screening on July 9 or 16. The possible follow-ups would be on July 23-24 with Some Kind of Wonderful and Sixteen Candles. Tickets would be just $5.
