Maxwell “Sonny” Goldberg (pictured left) passed away Monday, May 10, in Philadelphia at the age of 83.
Goldberg was a key player in the growth of the Atlantic City casino industry, having co-owned with business partner Milton Neustadter the Howard Johnson’s Hotel. The Howard Johnson’s Hotel for several years served as home to the annual March of Dimes Telethon, and in 1978 would later become Caesars Boardwalk Regency (now Caesars Atlantic City), A.C.’s second casino-hotel. Goldberg is also the former owner of the Steel Pier. He was born and raised in Atlantic City, graduated from Atlantic City High School, and is a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, where he served as a flight engineer.

Sonny Goldberg’s Atlantic City influence continues through his son, Roy Goldberg, and daughter, Anne Goldberg Neustadter. Behind the strong support of Trump Entertainment Resorts, Harrah’s Entertainment and many other companies and volunteers, the seventh annual Shirley Mae Run and Gilda’s Club Walk took place Saturday, May 8, on the Atlantic City Boardwalk (cancer survivors and participants are pictured right).breast cancer survivors

The event started in front of the Trump Taj Mahal, with Taj GM Rosalind Krause (pictured below, with Roy Goldberg) and Trump Entertainment Resorts CEO Mark Juliano overseeing an effort that raised over $100,000 to help support these praiseworthy charities.

Howdy this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
