MLB Pitch, Hit & Run at Stockton
Do you know any elementary or middle school students who are catching spring fever? Just add in some pitching, hitting and running to a warm day with a sunny, blue sky and you’ll get the MLB Pitch, Hit and Run competition, a free one-day event for boys and girls ages 7-14.
Richard Stockton College’s Student Veteran Organization, Kappa Sigma fraternity, and women’s softball team are hosting this year’s MLB Pitch, Hit and Run competition on Sunday, April 11, from 2-4pm.
The competition will be held on Stockton’s intramural fields off of Pomona Road. For a detailed campus map, please go here.
Winners of the local MLB Pitch, Hit and Run competition at Stockton will advance to a sectional competition held in mid May to early June. Winners of sectionals move on to a MLB Team Championship held at one of the 30 major league ballparks. Finally, the winners of the team championship advance to the National Finals 2010 MLB All-Star Week, which is an all-expense paid trip to Anaheim, California for the 2010 All-Star Game and a schedule of exciting activities.
Sign-ups for the competition will take place on-site April 11. For more information, contact Tom O’Donnell at 609-652-4676.
