Daughtry Coming to AC
Daughtry arrives Nov. 6.
Atlantic City is a major hub for current and former American Idols. The current Idols performed here at Boardwalk Hall on Aug. 7 (go here for my review). David Cook has become a regular headliner at the Borgata, scheduled again Sept. 26.
Now Trump Taj Mahal has positioned itself as the Idol casino hotel. Already scheduled for the fall is David Archuleta, opening for Demi Lovato Nov. 1 at Trump Taj Mahal (the show postponed from Aug. 22). The Taj is also presenting Kelly Clarkson on Oct. 10. Now it has just been announced that Daughtry will be making its AC debut on Friday, Nov. 6 at the Taj.
Chris Daughtry and his band are launching a 36-date U.S. arena tour this fall to support the group’s new studio album, Leave This Town. The opening acts will be main support Theory Of A Deadman and opener Cavo. The Taj arena will no doubt be one of the more intimate arenas Daughtry will be playing on the tour.
