Pavlik Returning in October?
This just in from our reliable South Philly source Bill Gelman. The Web site fightnews.com reports the following today:
“The camps of WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (35-1, 31 KOs) and WBO interim jr middleweight champ Paul “The Punisher” Williams (37-1, 27 KOs) have reportedly reached a preliminary agreement to fight on October 3 in Atlantic City, NJ. According to the Youngstown Vindicator, Top Rank is planning a press conference next week in New York City to announce the bout.”
