The four-day Greek Festival this past weekend went on rain or shine. I passed on the pouring rain on Friday (although I was told some hearty souls did show up) and walked around on Saturday at the grounds of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Mill Road in Egg Harbor Twp. Naturally my stroll finished at the gyro booth were I picked up my favorite Greek meal, a lamb gyro filled with luscious and perfectly seasoned lamb, onions, tomatoes and the glorious cucumber-yogurt sauce called Tzatziki, all wrapped in a pita bread. I took it home and split it with my mother as we watched the Phillies.
