The Atlantic City-based Metropolitan Business and Citizens Association’s Scholarship Foundation is accepting applications for its annual area-resident scholarships. Students attending an institute of higher learning for two years or more may be eligible for one of several $1,500 scholarships being offered.

Students (no age requirement) must live in the Atlantic City region. Applications can be e-mailed to Alexander C. Marino at alexmarino@comcast.net.

In two decades, the MBCA has given out more than 80,000 in scholarships and teacher grants. For details about this year’s annual Trump Entertainment Resorts Outstanding Educator Grant (also $1,500) visit the Web site (click on Scholarships) for details and more information.
